Well first I feel the need to say this past week was NOT kick ass type of week that i am used to here at DTR. The reason..Well the market has been slowly grinding back and in this process I usually am identifying great quality names that have pulled back into there respectable patterns but continue to remain in there overall uptrend.  I concentrated on a sector that has not been in a bullish uptrend like the rest of the market (Basic Materials) with an focus on Oil and gas and precious metals. As you can see on the picture below Basic material have been the weakest sector for the last 30 days. Red is down Green is Up.

So when you have this situation and the market also is not performing well... 

I am sure we are very close to a rotation in these stocks that were in focus last week, but the timing is hard especially when so many eyes are on it and the time frame we are working with for  the watch list is basically 5 days. 

So back on track next week.

Great Stocks Great trends and I bet you we look back at the Basic Material Sector next week  and sure enough it will be green as a dollar bill.

As Market Radar goes for next week. The 60 minute looks great for a push back up, but daily is bearish.. I will use our cautious card.
