3 new set ups have been added to the list this week. and I go over 8-10 great charts that continue to look great
It was another strong week in the market, and going into next week there is not much that is changing. The markets are acting like there are no sellers except those who are being slowly squeezed out of of their positions. May is almost half over and everyone has abandoned the notion of sell in May. You all know we were following closely the hype leading into May and from that overall focus I knew there was a great chance of making new highs. And here we are. Biggest fear right now is someone manipulating some news and causing air pockets of selling.
There has been a change in how I been analyzing the markets, I pay a lot of attention to market psychology and how the markets are perceived by both the uniformed public and those who have a more active part in the markets. And this alone has help me read into why the markets continue to move higher. As of last week I have noticed a shift in the sentiment balance, Where I am seeing more and more market (followers). Seeing a different perspective on why we are heading higher, or should I say embracing the idea this market could have a lot more room to run. So this is a change and that change is something we talk about a few month ago when I put a chart on the site describing emotional ride the market causes the individual investor to go through. It's a good time to revisit that and now see we are entering the optimism phase.
And yes I do believe the the time frame fits also, as each year we came back from the 2008 lows, the markets went though a healing process and continues to go through that. We know that, as we still know that there are people that have those scars and it will take time. 5 years to start feeling better about the markets doesn't sound like a lot to me, especially if you had your retirement cut in half.
Not guessing how far further we will go, right now its time to take advantage of the markets bullish bias to the upside and stick to the plan and discipline.
oh yeah first comes optimism then comes excitement......
