I major decision on the fiscal cliff negotiations will be made in the final hours this Sunday 5:30pm. Of course they have dragged this on till the final moments. How this plays out is still up in the air, but the consensus is for a some type of stop-gap measure to be put into place to prevent some tax cuts and spending hikes to come into effect on Jan 1st. I will not predict what will be the markets reaction, But i don't expect an "duck Tape deal" to have any positive reaction on the markets. On the other hand markets will be happy to have this behind it. It is a holiday week and Monday is a half day in the equities.

Due to the important nature of the the Decision on Sunday nigh I will be broadcasting live after Athens show that starts at 5pm est and we will cover the overnight futures and look to trade some of the volatility. 

This week's watch list has been posted and updated, but not much has changed from last week as most HPS stocks have chopped around sideways and are being pressured by economic news and events

The market when through an event like this in August 2011 I discuss that also in the video, but the short term reaction to that event was not a positive one, Soon after operation twist was put into effect and the markets rallied from that point.
